Ash Amin

Ash Amin is Emeritus Professor of Geography at Cambridge University. He is a Fellow of the British Academy and was the Academy’s Foreign Secretary from 2016 to 2019. He is a trustee of the Nuffield Foundation and an advisor to the Ove Arup Foundation. He is known for his work on cities and regions, the politics of cohabitation, and the cultural economy. His latest books are Grammars of the Urban Ground (co-edited with Michele Lancione, Duke, 2022) and After Nativism: Belonging in an Age of Intolerance (Polity, 2023).
