Pegah is a 25 years old British-Iranian environmental activist with masters in Public International Law from universities of Leiden, Geneva and Sheffield. She is the current Secretary General of Youth and Environment Europe, the largest independent European network of environmental youth organisations, uniting over 45 member organisations coming from 27 countries, based in Prague, Czech Republic. YEE organises, facilitates and supports projects and campaigns aiming to increase the knowledge, understanding, and appreciation of the environment and the awareness of climate issues among young people in Europe. She has been UK young ambassador to the European Union and Council of Europe from 2015 to 2020, advocating for young peoples right to a healthy environment and votes at 16.
