Per Sieverts Nielsen has an MSc and a Phd from DTU. He has been working in the energy and sustainability area for more than 30 years.

Per is using interdisciplinary approaches to model energy demand and energy supply analyses. His research combines microeconomic optimisation and digitalisation with the aim of designing and transforming decentral energy systems. More specifically Per’s expertise is in the field of energy systems analysis, with a focus on decentral energy systems, district heating systems and cross-sector integration.
