PUBLICATION THE SOUL OF EUROPE
Attempts to answer these and other questions about the contemporary condition of Europe and its future will be included in the main publication of this year's Congress, a collection of essays and interviews entitled "The Soul of Europe. What Divides and Unites Europeans?" edited by Jerzy Hausner and Jarosław Kuisz.
It is here that outstanding intellectuals and politicians share their views on various European issues, such as: Emil Brix, Pierre Buhler, Adam Daniel Rotfeld, Marek Belka, Ash Amin, Włodzimierz Cimoszewicz, Krzysztof Pomian, Karolina Wigura, Kalypso Nicolaïdis, Kiran Klaus Patel, Bernard Guetta, Magda Vášáryová, Olga Wysocka, Radosław Sikorski.
The publication will premiere during the Open Eyes Economy Summit 2024.
The book's co-publisher is Kultura Liberalna.
KRAKOW – HOST CITY OF OEES 2024
The choice of Krakow as the Host City of the Open Eyes Economy Summit is not accidental. It is a diverse, dynamic and innovative city, which is not only a space for implementing the idea of value economy by local investors, business and science, but also through its own actions, the local government implements the assumptions promoted by the Open Eyes Economy movement.
For several years now, Kraków has been a European leader in attractiveness for the modern business services industry, and recently also for research and development centers. Financial institutions and high-tech companies invest here, and startups are also developing well.
The city supports the diversification of economic activity - a significant share of Krakow's income is taken by industry, construction, the creative industry sector, education and culture. In Krakow, the development force is the knowledge-based economy and the constant pursuit of improving the quality of life of its residents,
OPEN EYES ART FESTIVAL
Open Eyes Art Festival (OEAF) is a series of artistic events that is a complementary part of the Open Eyes Economy Summit. The festival was established in 2021 as a consequence and natural evolution of the previously organized Open Eyes Festival. One of the basic assumptions of the Open Eyes Art Festival is diversity and interdisciplinarity - action in all fields of art: painting, sculpture, dance, theater, film, photography and graphics, as well as music, both classical and entertainment.
This year, the festival has planned 23 different events that will take place in 14 unique locations in Krakow. This is where different forms of artistic expression will meet: from visual arts, through music, theater, to performance and interdisciplinary activities.
One of the most important musical events of this year's OEAF will be the concert "Musical Fusion of Folklore", which will present the richness of Polish folk music in modern arrangements. The following will perform on stage: Kapela ze Wsi Warszawa, Kapela Maliszów and Hirundo Maris.

During the Congress, there will be a total of around 300 speakers who will take part in almost 100 program points concerning the future of Europe and other current challenges facing the modern world. The honorary patronage over the XNUMXth edition of the Congress was assumed by institutions such as: the Ministry of Digital Affairs, the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, the Ministry of Industry and the European Economic and Social Committee.
